New OptiCool Solution Pushes the Limits to Keep Data Centers Cooler

Leading provider of refrigerant-based data center cooling systems, OptiCool Technologies, has launched a new system that addresses data center cooling challenges. The integrated aisle containment solution incorporates active heat exchangers to keep data centers cooler, helping to adapt current cooling systems to support high-density racks and AI/HPC applications.

Traditionally, data center racks are laid out in rows, with alternating hot and cold aisles to manage air flow. Aisle containment design improves cooling efficiency by preventing hot air from mixing with the cold air. Now OptiCool’s new AHX-Integrated Aisle Containment solution adds active heat exchangers to aisle containment, eliminating thermal buildup and hotspots while reducing the load on cooling units.

“This solution extends our core competence in refrigerant-based cooling to aisle containment designs,” said Matthew Roberts, VP Sales at OptiCool. “We’re pushing the limits of what can be achieved with aisle containment, and giving data center operators more flexibility in supporting increasing CPU and GPU workloads at a per-rack level.”

This solution is ideal for retrofit deployments as well as new builds. To learn more, click here.
